CASE #2 <br /> <br />CONSIDER PROPOSAL TO UPDATE COMPREHENSIVE WATER STUDY <br /> By: Steven J. Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The City has budgeted $25,000 in 1998 to perform an update of the City's comprehensive water <br />study. Now that the City's comprehensive planning has proceeded to the point that future land <br />uses will be defined, it would be appropriate to commence the update of our water plan. <br />Attached is a statement of qualifications (under separate cover), along with a proposal from the <br />engineering firm of Bolton & Menk, Inc. to perform an update of our comprehensive plan for an <br />amount not to exceed $18,000. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff is recommending entering into a contract with Bolton & Menk to update the City's <br />comprehensive water plan at a cost not to exceed $18,000. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />Recommend that City Council authorize Bolton & Menk to update the City's comprehensive <br />water plan at a cost not to exceed $18,000. <br /> <br />Reviewed By: <br />City Administrator <br />Director of Public Works <br />Finance Officer <br /> <br />RB: 10/20/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
