During the design of
the Anoka Enterprise Park provisions were made as shown for potential extension of
stormwater facilities to the City of Ramsey.

The stormwater system within the Anoka Enterprise Park is based on storage of the
100 year return frequency event with depletion or outflow of stored water to the trunk
storm system in Thurston Avenue which outlets to the Mississippi River. We would
recommend that the same basic design criteria be applied to Ramsey. This would
include providing ponding for the 24 hour 100 year rainfall with pond outflow rates
sized to deplete the stored water volume over a subsequent 48 hour period. The City
of Anoka system can serve as the outlet for significant areas of Ramsey if the Ramsey
flow will be "off peak" i.e. retained and delayed in time by storage.

The attached map shows the following:

Location A, North of electric substation site:
A 24 inch R.C.P. is in place, extended to the west right of way line of McKinley
Street. This.pipe is sized to accept 10 year direct runoff from portions of Lot
4 BIk 1. The pipe system could be extended to Ramsey and could accept up to
1 2 cfs of off peak pond depletion flow.

Location B, West of McKinley at Lurid Blvd.
A 36 inch R.C.P. is in place, extended to the west right of way line of
McKinley Street. This pipe is sized to accept direct 10 year design runoff from
portions of Lots 3 & 4, Blk 1. It has a flow capacity of 28 cfs. The pipe could
be extended westerly to Ramsey. The main pipe system in Lurid Blvd. just
downstream from this location, is a 72" diameter line that outlets to the AEP
Phase 3 Pond.

Engineers Landscape Architects Surveyors
