Board Member <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98-09- ., <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A VARIANCE AND <br />DECLARING TERMS OF SAME. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Ramsey, in conjunction with the Anoka County <br />Housing and Redevelopment Authority (ACHRA), requested a variance from the height <br />restrictions in the Multiple Residential District on the property legally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 25, <br />Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying southwesterly of the <br />southwesterly right-of-way line of County State Highway No. 5 and lying easterly <br />of the easterly right-of-way line of Dysprosium Street and lying westerly of the <br />westerly right-of-way line of Trunk Highway No. 47, subject to easements of <br />record. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property"); and <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, the Board of Adjustment met on September 1, 1998, conducted the <br />public hearing and adopted findings of fact relating to the request for a variance from <br />height restrictions. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br />ADJUSTMENT OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF <br />MINNESOTA, as follows <br /> <br />Based on Findings of Fact # <br />granted. <br /> <br />variance to height restrictions is hereby <br /> <br />The seniors apartment building shall be allowed for development on the Subject <br />Property with the height not to exceed 45 feet from mean ground level. <br /> <br />In the event of an emergency on the Subject Property, the Ramsey Fire <br />Department shall immediately call for the assistance of a neighboring fire <br />department with reach capabilities' in excess of 38 feet, until such time as the <br />Ramsey Fire Department is equipped to handle fire suppression and rescue <br />operations in excess of 38 feet high. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Board <br />Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br /> <br />
