Board Member adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved for its RESOLUTION #98-09- ., A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A VARIANCE AND DECLARING TERMS OF SAME. WHEREAS, The City of Ramsey, in conjunction with the Anoka County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (ACHRA), requested a variance from the height restrictions in the Multiple Residential District on the property legally described as follows: That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 25, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying southwesterly of the southwesterly right-of-way line of County State Highway No. 5 and lying easterly of the easterly right-of-way line of Dysprosium Street and lying westerly of the westerly right-of-way line of Trunk Highway No. 47, subject to easements of record. (the "Subject Property"); and WItEREAS, the Board of Adjustment met on September 1, 1998, conducted the public hearing and adopted findings of fact relating to the request for a variance from height restrictions. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows Based on Findings of Fact # granted. variance to height restrictions is hereby The seniors apartment building shall be allowed for development on the Subject Property with the height not to exceed 45 feet from mean ground level. In the event of an emergency on the Subject Property, the Ramsey Fire Department shall immediately call for the assistance of a neighboring fire department with reach capabilities' in excess of 38 feet, until such time as the Ramsey Fire Department is equipped to handle fire suppression and rescue operations in excess of 38 feet high.
