Fifteen <br />percent of the people they serve are Ramsey residents. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to close the public <br />heating. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Beahen, Beyer, Haas Steffen and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public heating closed at 7:52 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Ms. Frolik announced that the Council would be making a decision on the allocation of the <br />CDBG funds at the January 27, 1998 meeting. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />1998 Council Organization <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Resolution #98-01-006 for 1998 Council Organization. (Such Resolution is included as <br />Attachment B so the record shows the appointments.) <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Beyer, Beahen and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to adopt <br />Resolution #98-01-007 designating financial institutions as official depositories of City funds for <br />1998. (Such Resolution is also included, labeled Attachment C, to indicate the financial <br />institutions designated.) <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamee, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Beahen, Beyer and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt Resolution <br />#98-01-008 authorizing signatures for financial transactions. (Those authorized are as follows: <br />James Norman [who will be City Administrator as of February 2, 1998], Finance Officer Jessie <br />Hart, Senior Accountant Diana Lund, Mayor Thomas Gamec and Acting Mayor Gerald <br />Zimmerman.) <br /> <br />Motion carried.
