Case #10: Report from Personnel Committee <br /> <br />End Probationary Period of Public works Maintenance Worker Brian E. <br />Ihnot <br /> <br />Administrative Services Manager Waite Smith stated that Brian E. Ihnot's six-month <br />probationary period ended May 3, 1998, and his supervisor, Merle Mevissen, has rated <br />his performance satisfactory and recommends th.a.t he be retained as a regular, full-time <br />City employee. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />adopt Resolution #98-05-092 ending the probationary period for Public Works <br />Maintenance Worker Brian E. Ihnot and grating him the status of regular, full-time <br />employee, effective May 3, 1998. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Beahen, Zimmerman and <br />Haas Steffen. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberBeyer. <br /> <br />2) End Probationary Period of Patrol Officer Greg Sullivan <br /> <br />Administrative Services Manager Waite Smith stated that Greg Sullivan's probationary <br />period of one year ended May t, 1998. Officer Sullivan's supervisors have rated his <br />performance satisfactory and recommend that he be retained as a regular, full-time City <br />employee. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />adopt Resolution #98-05-093 ending the probationary period for Patrol Officer Greg <br />Sullivan and granting him the status of regular, full-time employee, effective May 1, <br />1998. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamee, Councilmembers Beahen, Zimmerman and <br />Haas Steffen. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberBeyer. <br /> <br />3) Authorization to Hire Public Works Maintenance Worker <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />authorize hiring Mike Hanson as a Public Works Maintenance Worker, effective May 13, <br />1998, at a salary of $10.65 per hour. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Beahen, Zimmerman, and <br />Haas Steffen. Voting No: None.
