CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, August 11, 1998, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, t 5153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br />Councilmember Natalie Haas Steffen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Administrative Services Manager Linda Waite Smith <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Director of Public Works Dean Kapler <br />Police Chief David Gustafson <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular portion of the City Council meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. <br />and called upon Councilmember Zimmerman to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the <br />Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />It was noted that Case #7 required a four-fifths vote, therefore, it was pulled from the <br />agenda. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />approve the agenda as amended. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Beyer and Zimmerman. <br />Voting No: None.
