I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmcmber introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #97-01- RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF LOT 1 AND LOT lA, BLOCK 3, BUSINESS PARK 95 SECOND ADDITION WHEREAS, the City Council, pursuant to the authority granted it by City Charter Section 12.5 adopted Ordinance No. 96~01, which Ordinance approved the sale of Lot 1 and Lot iA, Block 3, BUSINESS PARK 95 SECOND ADDITION (the lot); and WHEREAS, a portion of the Lot is a "Torrens" lot as classified by the Anoka County Registrar of Titles office; and WHEREAS, the Anoka County Registrar of Titles office, prior to accepting a conveyance of the Lot by the City, requires that the City adopt a Resolution authorizing the Lot's sale, notwithstanding Ordinance No. 96-01. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That Lot 1 and LOt lA, Block 3, BUSINESS PARK 95 SECOND ADD/TION may be sold upon terms and conditions previously authorized by City Council 2) That the City's Mayor and City Administrator are authorized to execute a deed and other necessary conveyance documents in order to effectuate the sale of said Lot 1 and Lot IA, Block 3, BUSINESS PARK 95 SECOND ADDITION. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 14th day of January, 1997.
