I do not intend to take any protracted vacation <br />time prior to this date and will be working up to the 27th with the 28th being taken as a <br />vacation day. I will be working with Linda Waite Smith and Ryan Schroeder on the <br />formalities regarding payroll, etc. <br /> <br /> Since I will be working actively up until Feb. 28th, I will be available to provide <br /> assistance regarding the present files and responsibilities of the Chief's position with <br /> either my permanent replacement or an acting-Chief. While I neither expect nor feel it <br /> proper that I should be in on any selection process for a replacement I would like to meet <br /> with the City Administrator and the Council or Personnel Committee in the near future to <br /> give some input to the process and to relate some thoughts for the future of the <br /> department. <br /> <br />ay five years of service with the City of Ramsey have been, both <br /> lly, illuminating, rewarding and satisfying.
