Absent: Asfahl, Ostrum, and Skinner. <br /> <br />COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />1997 Park Dedication Rates <br /> <br />The City Administrator informed the Commission that on December 10, 1996, the City Council <br />changed park dedication rates to $875 for urban lots and $650 for rural lots. He added it was <br />Council's objective to remain competitive with fees other cities charge. Mr. Boos added he believed <br />this was a reasonable change. <br /> <br />Motion by Cormnissioner Johns and seconded by Commissioner Droegemueller supporting Council's <br />action in raising park dedication fees for urban and rural lots. <br /> <br />Motion Carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Cook, Commissioners Johns, Droegemueller, and LaMere. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Asfahl, Ostrum, and Skinner. <br /> <br />Alpine Park Status <br /> <br />Mr. Boos informed Commission members that four ballfields have been fit into the spec plan. The <br />City Administrator stated that a meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, January 2, 1996, starting <br />at 7 p.m. at City Hall. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an additional opportunity to <br />c;omment (m the residential and park development concepts. <br /> <br />C.:~mmissioner Droegemueller inquired about the average size of the lots proposed for the land parcel <br />cle,,elopmem. Thc City Admin/strator responded the minimum square footage is 10,800 square feet. <br />Ti-to average lot size of the land development to the north of the proposed development is one acre. <br />He added that whatever is developed will not be denser than what currently exists.
