Motion carried. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS - 5 <br /> <br />$.1 REVIEW OF CONFERENCE PARTICIPATION <br /> <br />O'Connell presented information requested by Ryan Schroeder <br />showing the 1996 Conference/Seminar participation for both QCCCC <br />and QCTV. <br /> <br />Schroeder stated that he was satisfied with the information presented <br />and believes that the participation is well within the approved <br />budgeted amounts for both the Cable Commission and the Access <br />Corporation. <br /> <br />5.2 REQUEST FOR AN EXTENSION TO FRANCHISE <br /> <br />At the "One Issue" meeting Commission Members directed staff to <br />initiate the process to extend the franchise past its current expiration <br />date of June, 1997. A draft letter from the Chair making such a request <br />was attached to the November packet. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Nagel, seconded by Schroeder TO APPROVE THE <br />FORWARDING LETTER FOR THE REQUEST FOR AN EXTENSION <br />LETTER TO THE CABLE COMPANY. <br /> <br />6 ayes - 0 nays. Motion carried. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS - 6 <br /> <br />6.1 ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br /> <br />O'Cormell stated that he has found several articles involving the Troy, <br />Michigan Case.
