Our mission is to eliminate domestic violence by cn~uring <br />accountability from our community while providing support services to battered <br />women and their children/youth through: safe, temporary emergency shelter, crisis <br />intervention, individual and systems advocacy, support networks, education <br />for battered women and their children and youth and community education. The <br /> <br />following services are designed to meet these goals: emergency shelter, crisis <br />intervention, support gorups for women and children/youth, educational workshops, <br />community presentations~ vqlqnteer involvement, intervention services~ hogpital <br />advocacy marvices and community advocacy services <br />Amount of CDBG Funds Requested $ ~, 500 <br /> <br />Specific Pr~ect Description: <br /> <br />We are requesting these funds to be used to pay the cost of room and board for <br />battered women and their families who are not eligible to receive A.F.D.C.
