FC CASE <br /> <br />AUTHORIZE VARIOUS 1997 CAPITAL PURCHASES <br /> By: Jessie Hart, Finance Officer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Included in the 1997 Adopted General Fund Budget are a number of capital outlay items that do <br />not require compliance with any level of statutory bidding laws. Therefore, according to Council <br />policy, we will secure the best price possible through written quotes that stay within the budgeted <br />amounts. Most of the items listed are replacement items for which some funding has been <br />included from the Equipment Replacement Fund.
