I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #97.01- _ RESOLUTION APPROVING 2ND PARTIAL PAYMENT TO E.H. RENNER & SONS, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT I~)6-19 (WELL NO. 1) WHEREAS, the City Council authorized, by motion on March 26, 1996, the preparation of plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, on May 14, 1996, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #96-05-120 awarding the bid to E.H. Renner & Sons, Inc. for the upgrading of Well No. 1 (Improvement Project #96-19); and WHEREAS, previous payment has been issued to E.H. Renner & Sons, Inc. for Improvement Project #96-19 in the amount of $33,844.57; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to E.H. Renner & Sons, Inc. in the amount of $2,030.03. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to E.H. Renner & Sons, Inc. for the upgrading of Well No. 1 (Improvement Project/O6-19) in the amount of $2,030.03. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of January, 1997. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember ~ ~. and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 28th day of January, 1997.
