I I I I I I I I I I i I I i I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #97-01-__ RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #97-08 (SEALCOAT AND CRACK FILL SECTION 21 UNPLATTED -- 153RD LANE, 154TH LANE AND RHINESTONE STREET) WHEREAS, City Engineer Steven Jankowski was directed by the Ramsey City Council at their meeting of January 14, 1997 to prepare a feasibility study for the 1997 Street Maintenance Program; and WHEREAS, the report was received by the Ramsey City Council on January 28, 1997 indicating the costs of the above project as follows: Estimated total cost of project $8,528.00 Estimated total assessment $4,264.00 Estimated assessment per unit $ 177.67 Three (3) year term NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of sealcoating and crack filling of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of $8,528. 2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 24th day of February, 1997 in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 28th day of January, 1997.
