The only notable variation from Ramsey's job description in the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties is in the Anoka job description, which requires knowledge of local geography. Minimum requirements. All the job descriptions, including Ramsey's, require a valid driver's license. Some also specify a good driving record. All the descriptions also require law enforcement training that would qualify the applicant for licensing by the Minnesota Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) Board. Most, including Ramsey, require the finalist to pass a physical examination. Some require emergency medical training. A few require proficiency in personal computers, and one requires a maximum response time of 20 minutes.
