As you are aware, we
provided the engineering and field services for the construction of this trunk line through the
wetland behind the Ramsey Elementary School and through the FOX KNOLL 2ND ADDITION
to where the utilities currently terminate on the west side of County Road 57. As a part of the
design process for the sanitary sewer trunk line, we projected the trunk alignment and the invert
elevations through the area of your currently proposed construction. Our proposal is based on
the project as described in your Request For Proposals, including 2880 lineal feet of trunk
sanitary sewer and 1805 lineal feet of trunk watermain, each on an individual alignment. Our
services also assume that adequate natural pipe bedding conditions will exist at the pipe zone, and
that alternate pipe alignments or special pipe bedding/support designs are not a part of the basic
services.

Our scope of services for the basic engineering services is as described in your Request For
Proposals for engineering services. In accordance with my discussion with you, I have added the
delineation of the wetland boundary to the technical engineering services to be provided. The
fee for the basic services, as outlined in your RFP, is proposed to be on an hourly-basis, not to
exceed $8,790. The technical engineering services are proposed to be on an hourly basis and are
estimated as follows:

Construction Staking and Construction Observation
Preparation Of As-Built Drawings
Soil Borings
Wetland Delineation

$10,800
$870
$2,82O
$2,120
