To add this road to the MSA system will require that the City of Elk <br />River and City of Ramsey each add one-half the length of the road to their respective <br />MSA systems. The length of the road common to both cities has been estimated to be <br />0.80 ~niles, requiring each city to add 0.40 miles to their MSA system. <br /> <br />Resolutions adopted by both Elk River and Ramsey City Councils need to be provided to <br />MnDOT by May 1, 1997, to add new roads to the MSA system. We would request that <br />the City of Ramsey review this issue and inform us if they would consider adding this <br />segment of Jarvis Street to their MSA system. We have tentatively requested approval <br />to add this to the City's MSA system from Mike Tardy, District 3 State Aid Engineer. <br />This issue has not been presented to the Elk River City Council yet, however, we do not <br />expect any opposition. <br /> <br />'We thank you in advance for your cooperation on this matter.
