I <br /> <br /> I <br /> <br />'1 <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />'1 <br />I <br />I <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> REPORT ON ARRANGEMENTS FOR <br /> 1997 COMMISSION APPRECIATION DINNER <br />By: Linda Waite Smith, Administrative Services Manager <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />'l'he second annual Commission Appreciation Day is scheduled for Monday evening, April 14. <br />City staff requested information about facility availability, menu choices and prices from three <br />restaurants, Based on a review of that information, staff is recommending that the dinner be held <br />at Majestic Oaks. <br /> <br />Last year 92 people were invited to the dinner. This included all current and past commissioners, <br />elected officials, staff liaisons and a guest for each. Sixty-two people attended. This year there <br />are 90 people who would be invited. We have no way of knowing how many will attend. <br /> <br />The total cost of meals, service charge, tax, invitations and postage, decorations and door prizes <br />fbr the 1996 event was $1,275.
