I <br /> I <br />i <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:08 p.m., in order to <br />conduct the public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:08 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski announced this hearing is for Improvement Project 4~97-03 Tiger Street. <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />Vernon Brand, 17045 Tiger Street NW, Ramsey, stated he has lived off of Tiger Street for about <br />30 years and he does not understand why City staff feels they have to spend a lot of money on this <br />road. It seems the slight cracks could just be repaired. He inquired why something isn't done at <br />the end of Armstrong instead. <br /> <br />Mr. Jankowski explained that the sealcoating option is a preventative maintenance. It's meant to be <br />applied before the roads become weakened. In response to the question about Armstrong, he <br />stated that the section Mr. Brand is talking about is a county road and not the City's jurisdiction. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Haas Steffen to close the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Beahen, Haas Steffen, Beyer and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing adjourned at 7:11 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular portion of the City Council meeting back to order at 7:11 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:11 p.m. in order to <br />conduct the public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:11 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski announced this hearing is for Improvement Project g97-04 Alicia <br />Addition. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Mayor Gamec to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />City Council/February 25, 1997 <br /> Page 5 of 28 <br /> <br /> <br />
