Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing adjourned at 7:23 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular portion of the City Council meeting back to order at 7:23 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Jankowski noted that Improvement Project #97-14 has been deleted from the program due to <br />an error in our inventory. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:23 p.m. in order to <br />conduct the public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:23 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski announced this hearing is for Improvement Project//97-15 Ford Brook <br />Estates E/O T.H.//47. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />Mr. Jankowski noted a letter from David and Kerry Jarvis, 17918 Erkium Street NW, Ramsey, <br />opposing the assessment. They felt that the repairs should be paid for through property taxes. <br /> <br />Milo Mannino, 5418 - 180th Lane NW, Ramsey, asked about the material used in the project and <br />also if he would be inconvenienced because he lives on a cul-de-sac and when last was this street <br />done. <br /> <br />Mr. Jankowski stated that the street was constructed in 1981, and was last sealcoated in 1987. <br />With regard to the cul-de-sac, it was thought that Mr. Mannino would not be inconvenienced. He <br />should be able to come and go without a problem. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to close the <br />public heating. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Beahen, Beyer and <br />Zimmerman.
