Land <br /> Company <br /> <br /> Chairperson Bawden asked/'or clarification of the ouflots being retained by the City. <br /> <br /> City Engineer Jankowski responded tha~ it is his understanding th~.t exis~ng Ouflot B on the east side <br /> o£the plat is not par~ of the plat and will be retained by the City. The ouflot on the west side is <br /> included in the plat. The agreement is that it will be deeded back to the City as an ouflot. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Holland asked ii'the length office cul-de-sac is the maximum allowed by City Code. <br /> City Engineer .Iankowski answered, yes. <br /> <br /> C .hairperson Bawden asked if the reason for the cul-de-sac instead cfa through sla-ee~ is to pzeserve <br /> more trees, tt <br /> <br /> City Engineer Jankowsld stated that the developer also felt that the cul-de-sac would create more <br /> desirable lots than a through street. <br /> <br />Commissioner Thomd asked if the cul-de-sac will raise issues for snow plowing and emergency <br />vehicles. <br /> <br />City Engineer lankowsld stated that there are more maintenance problems with cul-de-sacs. <br />However, the end lots are very desirable because there is so little traffic.
