James Gromberg, Economic Development Coordinator Ramsey Economic Development Commission Comprehensive Land Use Plan The Ramsey Economic Development Comnfission (EX)C) looks forward to working with the City Council as they review and update the Comprehensive Land Use Plan. The EDC will assist the Council in whatever capacity the City Council should require. As the City Council is aware, the EDC is currently working on the following projects that will provide a timely fit for the updating of the land use plan: The review and development of a plan for the design of the Highway #10 corridor as it passes through the City of Ramsey. The intent of this review is to develop a vision of the corridor that will allow for it to become a soume of pride for the City. As previously directed by the City Council, the EDC will also be reviewing the ratio of commercialAndustrial property to residential property to determine if changes in some areas should be contemplated. The Comrrfission hopes that this review of the plan can be conducted in a wdy to prevent the hard feelings that occurred during the most recent review. In an effort to prevent these problems, it may be advantageous to incorporate a bi-commission commiuee to review and develop an updated plan. The EDC welcomes the opportunity to discuss the comprehensive land' use: plan and how they can be of service to the City Council in this endeavor to provide for the future development of the City of Ramsey.
