The proposal from Bolton and Menk, Inc. agrees to perform a comprehensive review of our needs for an amount not to exceed $5,000. Discussion ensued relating to possible other f'n'rns that could do this study also. Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to authorize staff to check with Hakanson Anderson, Inc. to see what their rate would be to do this study and if there is no big disparity (e.g. $1,500), proceed with the study with Bolton and Menk, Inc. Motion carded. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Haas Steffen and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Beyer. Case #6: Water Utility Improvements City Engineer Jankowski updated the Road and Bridge Committee on the water utility improvements. He asked for action on a change order to contract two extend the time weeks for the well driller (Well No. 3) because we told him to cease work so the well house contractor could get in and lay pipe. We delayed the well driller that amount of time. Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to recommend Council approve Change Order #1, extending the contract complel:ion date for Well No. 3 for 14 calendar days at no added cost. Motion carded. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Haas Steffen and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Beyer. ADJOURNMENT Consensus was to adjourn the meeting.
