A '[Mobile home" is a manufactured home that does not <br />meet the requirements of a manufactured home and the requirements for erection <br />of a manufactured home as described by Chapter 9 of the City Code, which section <br />was adopted by City of Ramsey Ordinance #82-12. <br /> <br /> Sub& 2. A '[Mobile home park" shall be any premises which has <br />facilities to accommodate one or more occupied mobile homes. <br /> <br /> Sub& 3. "Unit" means a section of ground in a mobile home park of <br />not less than 43,560 square feet of unoccupied space in an area designated as the <br />location for one mobile home, off-street parking space for two automobiles, and <br />other uses considered pertinent to the establishment and use of a mobile home <br />residence as permitted by this chapter. "Person" shall be construed to include persons, <br />partnerships, firm, company, corporation, tenant, owner, lessee, their agents, <br />heirs and assigns. <br /> <br />8.40.02 Mobile home location <br /> <br /> Subdivision l. It shall be unlawfl.~l within the limits of the City of <br />l~msey for any person to park any mobile home on e_ny street, alley or highway, or <br />other public place, or on any tract of land owned by any person, occupied or <br />unoccupied, within the City of Ramsey, except as provided in this section. <br /> <br /> Sub(i 2. Emergency or temporary stopping or parking is permitted <br />on any street, alley or highway for not longer than three hours subject to any other <br />and further prohibitions, regulations or limitations imposed by the traffic and <br />parking regulations or codes for street, alley or highway. <br /> <br /> Subd. & No person shall park or occupy any mobile home on the <br />premises of any. occupied dwelling or any lot which is not a part of the premises of <br />any occupied dwelling, either of which is situated outside of an approved mobile <br />home park; except, the parking of only one travel tree]er of less than 500 square feet <br />in floor area is permitted, providing no living quarters shall be maintained or any <br />businesses practiced in said travel trailer while such travel trailer is so parked or <br />stored. <br /> <br /> Subd. 4. The City Council may in its discretion grant a permit to <br />park one house trailer or mobile home on a tract of land to any non-profit <br />corporation, organization, or other charitable enterprise when the following <br />circumstances exist: <br /> <br />Page 268 Printed 12/28/90 <br /> <br /> <br />
