I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember __ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #97-04- RESOLUTION APPROVING 2ND PARTIAL PAYMENT TO M.C. MAGNEY CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #96-22 (CONSTRUCTION OF PUMP HOUSE AND CONNECTING WATERMAIN FOR WELL NO. 3) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on February 13, 1996; and 'WHEREAS, on November 12, 1996, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #96-11-324 awarding the bid to M.C. Magney Construction, Inc. for the construction of a pump house and connecting watermain for Well No. 3 (Improvement Project #96-22); and WHEREAS, previous payment has been made to M.C. Magney Construction, Inc. for lmprovement Project #96-22 in the amount of $56,051.90; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to M.C. Magney Construction, Inc. in the mount of $18,536.40. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY~ ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to M.C. Magney Construction, Inc. for the construction of a pump house and connecting watermain for Well No. 3 (Improvement Project #96-22) in the amount of $18,536.40. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for themonth of April, 1997. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember _ and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same:
