I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Borings" and/or rules and regulations of the State of <br />Minnesota Plumbing Code. <br /> <br />(d) <br /> <br />As used in Section 8.6.3 of the City Charter, the term <br />"original assessment" shall mean that the initial <br />assessment amount which would have been assessed and <br />levied against a property for a Local Improvement Project <br />which first extended Urban Services (sewer and/or water) <br />to said property. <br /> <br />As used in Section 8.6.3 of the City Charter, an <br />assessment which is "consistent with the original <br />assessment" is that amount which would be assessed and <br />levied against a property for a Local Improvement Project <br />which extended Urban Services (sewer and/or water) to <br />said property as if said Urban Services were installed at <br />the time the property connects to the City's sewer and/or <br />water utilities, or is levied a special assessment for <br />said benefit. <br /> <br />4.70.04 REPAIR OF SYSTEMS <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Upon determination that either a private sewer system or <br />a private water system or both is a non-functional system <br />as defined herein, the city's Building Official shall <br />certify either or both of said systems as "non- <br />functional". <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />An existing home which is serviced by a non-functional <br />private sewer and/or private water system shall be <br />required to connect to the City's sewer system if the <br />home's sewer system is non-functional or connect to the <br />City's water system if the home's water system is non- <br />functional. The connection date shall be within six <br />months of the date on which the system was declared non- <br />functional. <br /> <br />4.70.05 NOTICE TO.PUBLIC <br /> <br />The city shall cause its public property records to reflect that <br />any property not assessed because the property owner elected to <br />remain on a functional private sewer and/or private water system is <br />subject to a pending sewer and/or water system assessment or <br />connection charge when said property connects to either the City's <br />sewer or water system. <br /> <br />4.70.06 ELECTION TO REMAIN ON FUNCTIONAL PRIVATE SYSTEM. <br /> <br />The procedure by which a property owner may elect to remain on a <br />functional private sewer and/or water system shall be as provided <br />for in this Section. <br /> <br /> <br />
