I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />REQUEST TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM B-3 HIGHWAY BUSINESS <br />TO R-1 URBAN RESIDENTIAL; CASE OF WILLIAMS INVESTMlgNTS, INC. <br /> By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />CASE #~.~ <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Ralph Williams is requesting a rezoning of property located south of Super Bowl to facilitate the development <br />of single family homes on the property. <br /> <br />Notification: <br /> <br />State statute requires notification of the public hearing to owners of property within 350 feet of the subject <br />property. Staff sent hearing notices to owners of property within 500 feet of the subject property. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The property is approximately 1 acre in size and is in the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA). The <br />applicant is proposing to subsequently plat the property into urban residential lots. The adjacent parcel to the <br />north is zoned commercial and parcels to the south, east and west are zoned residential.
