I I I REQUEST TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM B-3 HIGHWAY BUSINESS TO R-1 URBAN RESIDENTIAL; CASE OF WILLIAMS INVESTMlgNTS, INC. By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik CASE #~.~ I I I I I I Background: Ralph Williams is requesting a rezoning of property located south of Super Bowl to facilitate the development of single family homes on the property. Notification: State statute requires notification of the public hearing to owners of property within 350 feet of the subject property. Staff sent hearing notices to owners of property within 500 feet of the subject property. Observations: The property is approximately 1 acre in size and is in the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA). The applicant is proposing to subsequently plat the property into urban residential lots. The adjacent parcel to the north is zoned commercial and parcels to the south, east and west are zoned residential. The City received one written statement from an area property owner in support of the request.
