Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #97-04- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF NORTHSTAR CORRIDOR <br />DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey, by Resolution #97-03-053, agreed to support <br />development of an organization which will review and analyze multi-modal <br />transportation improvements in the T.H. #10 corridor, including highway improvements, <br />commuter and freight rail, recreational trails and intelligent Transportation Systems; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a joint powers agreement has been prepared by prospective member <br />agencies of the Northstar Corridor; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Ramsey to be a member of this <br />organization. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATlg~OF~ MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That ~l~\Mayo~t4ahd Gity'~'-.~smirTfistr~o-r-a.Cd'Jh~eby authorized to enter into the <br /> Joint Powers Agreement establishing the aforementioned organization and are <br /> hereby appointed as the initial representative and alternate to said organization. <br /> <br />The motion for <br />Councitmember <br />favor thereof: <br /> <br />the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 22nd day ofApriI, 1997. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
