The parcel is approximately 8 acres, and the house is
situated approximately 280 feet from the front property line. (The original homeowner, not the
applicants, essentially created a 280-foot front yard setback when they sited the house on the lot.)
The applicants propose to construct the garage approximately 180 feet from the. fi'ont property
line. The site plan submitted reveals that declines in topography, mature tree growth, septic
system location, and tilIable land prevent locating an accessory structure in the side or rear yard.

The Board of Adjustment proceeded to review the Findings of Fact.

Motion by Board Member Bawden and seconded by Board Member Terry to amend #1 through
#14 in the affirmativet

Board of AdjustmenffApril I, I997

I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I

I
i

I
I
I
