,I I I MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY DIVISION OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT I I I I I I :1 I I AGREEMENT TO OFFSET CATEGORY A AND B ESTIMA~ DSRs This Agreement is entered into between the political jurisdiction (county, city, township, school district, etc.) indicated below, and the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Division of ~ergency Managament for the provision of estimated Category A and/or B funding for eligible costs under FEMA l175-DR-MN incurred by the political Jurisdiction in response to the flooding in 1997. The estimated funding will not exceed 50 percent of the Category A and/or B costs certified by an authorized representative within the political jurisdiction. The political jurisdiction agrees to continue assembling Category A and B documentation so that Damage Survey Reports(DSRs! of actual costs can be prepared as soon as possible. The political jurisdiction further agrees that the DSRs prepared covering the actual costs for Category A and B will be used to offset the estimated DSRs and additional funding for Category A and B DSRs will only be provided after the estimated DSKs have been fully offset. If the political jurisdiction has insufficient eligible Category A and B costs to offset the estimated DSR, permanent work category DSRs may also be used to offset these costs. I certify that projected eligible Category A and B damages will exceed: $ and request that 50% of these costs be advanced to the political jurisdiction to assist in our recovery efforts.
