A copy of the most
recent plan was distributed to the Road and Bridge Committee last May. It may be mutually
beneficial to both the governmental units to have the City provide some input and suggest
priorities on projects which have been identified within the County's plan, and suggest projects
which are likely to be a candidate for the ClP in the near future. MnDOT has somewhat of a
similar process for roads under their jurisdiction, T.H. #47 and T.H. #10, and City input can be
similarly beneficial.

Attached are lists of identified and potential County and State transportation improvement
projects located within the City of Ramsey. It is proposed that the Road and Bridge Committee
review the list of projects, assign priorities, and direct staff to transmit this information to the
County and MnDOT.

Committee Action:

Assign project priorities and direct staff to prepare a resolution to be transmitted to the
appropriate agencies.

Reviewed by: Copies also distributed to:
City Engineer City Administrator

RB: 05/13/97

/jmt
CoStProj. doc

~3
