Based on the study results and as Ed
Brown discussed with you previously, we have recommended authorization
of the following speed limits:

40 mph -

between the intersection with County Road 56 (Ramsey
Blvd. N.W.) and the intersection with County Road 116
(Industry Avenue N.W.)

35 mph -

between the intersection with County Road 57 (Sunfish
Lake Boulevard N.W. and the intersection with County
State Aid Highway 5 (Nowthen Boulevard N.W.)

The proposed speed limits are currently being reviewed by our Office of
Traffic Engineering in Roseville, which will make the final speed limit
determinations. As soon as the review has been completed, you will be
notified of their decision.'

Before posting speed limits authorized as a result of the studies, a routine
review of Sunwood Drive is recommended to ensure all necessary traffic
control devices are in place, visible, in good condition, and in conformance
with the Minnesota Manual on Traffic Control Devices.

An equal opportunity employer

I
I
I
I
i
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I,

I
I
I
I
