I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />PUBLIC ]tEARING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, May 6, 1997, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota to hear input <br />regarding a request for a conditional use permit to construct accessory structures prior to a principal <br />building on the Hansen Tree Farm property. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Benjamin Deemer <br />Commissioner Paul Holland <br />Commissioner Sharon Jensen <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Chairperson David Bawden <br />Commissioner Bradley Thorud <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Deemer called the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen stated that half of the property is mature trees. Christmas trees are grown'on the other <br />half of the property. There has never been a building on the property, and he is requesting permission <br />tO build a pole barn for storage. A sales/display building is planned for the future to be open from <br />Thanksgiving through Christmas. He requested clarification of condition No. 5 of the permit. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Jensen to close the public heating. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Commissioners Holland, Jensen, LaDue and <br />Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Bawden and Commissioner Thorud. <br /> <br /> <br />
