Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97-05-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR ONE SKID <br />STEER LOADER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, included in the 1997 Adopted General Fund Budget was the purchase of <br />one skid steer loader at a total price of $25,000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City to proceed with the requirements 'under the <br />statutory bidding laws; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Finance Committee approved this recommendation and hereby <br />recommends that the Ramsey City Council authorize the advertisement for bids. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the solicitation of bids for the purchase <br />of one skid steer loader. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 27th day of May, 1997. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
