Absent: Chairperson Bawden and Commissioner Thorud. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Deemer adjourned the regular Planning Commission meeting at 9:00 p.m. to <br />conduct the following public hearing: <br /> <br />Request to rezone certain property from R~I Rural Residential to R-1 Urban Residential; <br />Case of Jake Barthold. <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Deemer called the Planning Commission reconvened the meeting at <br />9:01 p.m. <br /> <br />Case #11: <br /> <br />Request to Rezone Certain Property from R-1 Rural Residential to R-1 Urban <br />Residential; Case of Jake Barthold. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that this case is similar to Case No. 10. However, in Case No. 10 <br />it is certain that the entire property is in the MUSA. In this case there is some question about the <br />MUSA boundary. Staff is requesting that the development findings of fact be approved contingent <br />upon a positive conclusion with regard to the MUSA boundary. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Jensen to amend findings fact Nos. <br />1 through 13 in the affirmative. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Chairperson Deemer, Commissioners Holland, Jensen, LaDue <br />and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Bawden and Commissioner Thorud. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to recommend adoption <br />of the findings of fact regarding the request to rezone certain property from R-1 Rural Residential <br />to R-1 Urban Residential and approval of the request for rezoning from Jake Barthold, contingent <br />upon a positive conclusion regarding the MUSA boundary. <br /> <br />Planning Commission/May 6, 1997 <br /> Page 10 of 11 <br /> <br /> <br />
