CASE <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING AND REQUEST FOR VACATION OF EASEMENT <br />.FOR ACCESS TO CITY PUMPHOUSE #3; <br /> CASE OF RAMSEY TOWN CENTER LLC <br /> By: Sylvia Frolik, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As part of tonight's agenda, the City Council will be reviewing the proposed £mal plat for Town <br />Center. The road configuration in the final plat includes a roadway that will run concurrent with <br />an easement for utility purposes .that provides access to Pumphouse #3 (Well #5). Therefore, <br />Ramsey Town Center is requesting that the easement be vacated as it will be replaced with a <br />public road that will provide access to the pumphouse. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br />c) <br /> <br />Site location map <br />Exhibit of underlying easements to be vacated <br />Proposed ordinance <br /> <br />Notification: <br /> <br />In accordance with State Statute, City Staff attempted to notify property owners within 350 feet <br />of the subject property of the public hearing to vacate easements. <br /> <br />ObserVations: <br /> <br />A public hearing and ordinance ad6ption is required in order to vacate easements. <br /> <br />RecommendatiOn: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends introduction of the enclosed ordinance to vacate existing easement. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to intrOduce Ordinance #03- to vacate the easement for roadway and utility purposes <br />described in Quit Claim Deed dated July 27, 2001 and filed for record in the office of the Anoka <br />County, Minnesota, Recorder as Document # 1597261. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Asst.
