PC CASE # <br /> <br /> CONSIDER RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF PARK AND <br /> RECREATION COMMISSIONER AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO BEGIN <br /> THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS TO FILL THE VACANCY <br /> <br /> By: Givonna Reed, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />At its September 11, 2003 meeting, the Park and Recreation Commission accepted the <br />verbal resignation of Commissioner Michael Rolfe and recommended that the City <br />Council authorize staff to begin the process to fill the vacancy. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Accept the resignation of Park and Recreation Commissioner Michael Rolfe and <br />authorize staff to begin the recruitment process to fill the vacancy. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />Motion recommending that the City Council adopt a resolution accepting Michael <br />Rolfe's resignation from the Park and Recreation Commission effective immediately, <br /> <br />-and- <br /> <br />Motion recommending that the City Council authorize staff to begin the process to fill the <br />vacancy on the Park and Recreation Commission. <br /> <br />PC: 09-23-03 <br /> <br /> <br />
