Councilmember McGlone referred to the memorial as being a Rotary -driven project and stated <br />he is not comfortable paying for staff memberships. <br />Councilmember -Elect Tossey said he would rather have staff involved in a Local organization <br />and suggested subsidizing local memberships such as Rotary. <br />Discussion was also held on memberships with North Metro Mayors Association and <br />International City Managers Association. No changes were recommended. <br />COUNCIL FUTURE TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />1) Future Topics for Discussion <br />City Administrator Ulrich indicated a strategic planning session is scheduled for January 24 -25 <br />with the new Councilmembers. He added the employee holiday party will be held at North Fork <br />on January 21. <br />Police Chief Way stated the Mayors Trail Ride will be held on January 22 and asked that <br />Council contact him for sled arrangements. <br />Mayor Ramsey asked that staff formally discontinue the Sister City relationship by arranging for <br />a resolution if needed. <br />City Administrator Ulrich said the Ramsey resident/legislative update will be held on December <br />7. <br />Councilmember -Elect Tossey asked that use of the amphitheater be included as a future topic for <br />events such as New Year's Eve ice skating sponsored by Bob FM.
