CASE # 7 <br /> <br />ADOPT ORDIIqANCE TO REZONE PROPERTY FROM R-1 RURAL RESIDENTIAL <br />TO R-1 URBAN RESIDENTIAL; CASE OF GOOD VALUE HOMES AND JAKE <br />BARTHOLD <br /> By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Good Value Homes and Jake Barthold are requesting a rezoning of property proposed to be <br />platted as Apple Ridge to facilitate the development of single family homes. <br /> <br />Notification: <br /> <br />State statute requires notification of the public heating to owners of property within 350 feet of <br />the subject property. Staff sent hearing notices to owners of property in excess of the 350 foot <br />requirement. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />On May 27, 1997, the City Council adpted f'mdings of fact and introduced an ordinance to rezone <br />the property (less any property not in the Metropolitan Urban Service Area) to R-1 Urban <br />Residential. The legal description in the proposed ordinance has been amended to include only <br />that property that is in the MUSA.
