(HKGi) The HKGi Team is uniquely qualified to assist the City in preparing its comprehensive plan for the following reasons: We have excellent experience with City comprehensive planning and related growth management strategies including residential clustering techniques. We employ an urban design approach to comprehensive planning that provides directions on how a community can express its unique character. We are known for providing comprehensive plans that are used rather than laying on the shelf. All members of the team are highly respected and have great credibility in the planning profession. We understand and have experience with the techniques that might need to be applied for permanent open space preservation. We are trained and experienced facilitators. We have a reputation for excellence in working with the public, thus avoiding contentious situations. We have full GIS and AUTO CAD capabilities.
