We also propose six neighborhood concept review meetings which are intended to follow the <br />community-wide meeting. These will provide neighborhood and other special interests with <br />opportunities to comment on the plans while they are still in a general form. <br /> <br />Our fee for nine or f~een additional meetings will range from FiVE to SEVEN THOUSAND <br />DOLLARS ($5,000.00 - $7,000.00). The revised range for basic services will therefore be <br />SIXTY-THREE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED FIVE DOLLARS ($63,905.00) to SIXTY-SM <br />THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED FIVE DOLLARS ($66,405.00). <br /> <br />I should add that the volume of meetings is not aa indication of quality public participation or <br />public happiness with the process. What is done at those meetings and how they build trust and <br />credibility for the City is what counts. We are recognized for our ability to successfully involve <br />the public in the process and make them parties to the outcomes. <br /> <br />In addition, you requested information about how much money would need to be budgeted to <br />cover those services to be rendered in 1997.
