These <br />quotes have been review&l and found to be in order. W_.e are therefore recommendingthat the <br />C_i[y award this project t~E.tt. Renner & Sons. <br />The City should drill a telt hole before proceeding with the production well construction for the <br />following reasons: <br /> <br /> 1. To verify thatilhe site is suitable for a Franconia Ironton-Galesville (FIG) Sandstone <br /> well or if another site or a lower aqu. ifer at this site must be selected. <br /> <br /> 2. The geology i~ this area is not well known as evidenced that the bedrock at Well 3 <br /> was 75 feet Ia ~ver than expected. The St. Lawrence as well as the top of the <br /> Franconia wa missing. <br /> <br /> 3.
