CASE #: <br />ADDENDUM <br /> <br /> RECEIVE RECOMMENDATION TO APPROVE <br /> APPOINTMENTS TO POLICE SERGEANT POSITIONS <br /> By: Linda Waite Smith, Administrative SerVices Manager <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Since PC Case #1 was written, the two candidates for the Police Sergeant positions have <br />successfully completed their written exams and oral interviews. As a result, staff is <br />recommending that Patrol Officer James Way be appointed to one position and Patrol Officer <br />Robert Kuhn be appointed to the other. In addition, James Way would be designated the Acting <br />Police Chief in the Chief's absence. Both appointments would be effective on.
