I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />16. <br /> <br />17. <br /> <br />That Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code states that on parcels less than one acre <br />but greater than 14,880 square feet, the total square footage of attached and detached <br />garages or accessory buildings shall not exceed 1,488. <br /> <br />That the Applicants currently have 988 square feet of garage space on the Subject <br />Property and are proposing to construct an additional 672 square feet for a total of 1,660 <br />square feet, which is a 172 square foot overage in allowable garage space on the subject <br />property. <br /> <br />That the Applicants have stated that they have 3 vehicles which are currently stored in the <br />existing 3-car garage and the construction of an additional building large enough to store <br />their boat, snowmobiles and lawn equipment indoors will be an improvement to the <br />property. <br /> <br />That the City has previously approved requests to exceed maximum accessory structure <br />space limits for the purpose of storing personal equipment and vehicles indoors. <br /> <br />That the proposed use will not adversely impact traffic in the area. <br /> <br />That the proposed use will not be unduly dangerous or otherwise detrimental to persons <br />residing or working in the vicinity of the use or to the public welfare. <br /> <br />That the proposed use will not substantially adversely impair the use, enjoyment, or <br />market value of any surrounding property. <br /> <br />That the proposed use will not be hazardous or disturbing to existing or future <br />neighboring uses. <br /> <br />That the proposed use will be served adequately by public facilities and services such as <br />highways and streets. <br /> <br />That the proposed use will not create excessive additional requirements at public cost for <br />public facilities and services, and it will not be detrimental to the economic welfare of the <br />community. <br /> <br />That the proposed use wilI not involve activities and uses that will be detrimental to any <br />persons, property, or the general welfare by reason of excessive production of traffic, <br />noise, smoke, fumes, glare, or odors. <br /> <br />That at the public hearing conducted on July 1, 1997, the Planning Commission received <br />a written statement from Roger Borchard at 5715 148th Lane N.W. stating no objection <br />to the proposed overage in accessory structure space on the Subject Property. <br /> <br /> <br />
