City of Ramsey <br />Planning Commission <br /> <br />Dear Planning Commission: <br /> <br />I am writing about the land which is being condsidered for <br />mining. If the property is fairly level as was stated at the <br />last planning meeting, then the land can be developed for <br />homes without mining it's surface. Mining would remove many <br />lovely quality trees. Trees are a real asset to the City of <br />Ramsey. If you doubt that the new citizens appreciate trees, <br />then talk with our neighbors on 147th Lane who lost trees in <br />the recent wind storm. There is a real sadness over the <br />losses. <br /> <br />Thelarge trees which would be removed in the sand mining <br />operation took close to a lifetime to grow.
