CASE <br /> <br />RECEIVE BID AND AWARD CONTRACT FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #96-24 (SCADA) <br />By: Steven J. Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br />On June 24, 1997, the CitY Council authorized solicitation of bids for Improvement Project #96- <br />24, Water Utility Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system (SCADA). This project <br />entails replacing our water system controls with a new telemetry system that will allow the <br />transmission of information between the water tower, the two well houses, public works, and the <br />municipal building. Combined with the monitoring and telemetry equipment will be a computer <br />interface, which will allow the recording of system information and the generation of reports. <br /> <br />Bids are scheduled to be opened Friday, July 18, 1997.
