Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Presentation by the Association of Metropolitan Municipalities <br /> <br />Vern Peterson, Executive Director, Roger Peterson, Assistant Executive Director, John Weaver, <br />Boardmember, and James Prosser, President, of the Association of Metropolitan Municipalities <br />(AMM) were present to summarize the benefits brought about by the AMM and to request that <br />the City of Ramsey consider membership. <br /> <br />Case #2: Recommend Hiring Cheryl L. Carlson as Patrol Officer <br /> <br />Administrative Services Manager Waite Smith reported that Ms. Carlson has passed the <br />background checks and a physical and a psychological examination and staff is recommending <br />she be hired as a patrol officer. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to authorize <br />hiring Cheryl Carlson as a Patrol Officer at an annual salary of $31,021. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Beyer, Beahen and <br />Zimmerman.
