August 4, 1997 <br /> <br />Ramsey Plmming Cmmnission <br />Re: Conditional use for ~enrtit for wireless teleco~mnunication facility <br /> <br />I reside at 16651 Quicksilver Street N.W., also known at Lot I. Rabbit Run <br />Addition. I have a number for concerns a~d possible suggestions regarding <br />the location of this tower. <br /> <br />I was told the city has an ordinance protecting residential areas from these <br />towers. I do border cmmnercial land, but this tower is the first thing I will <br />see walking out my front door and out of my master bedroom window. I <br />have been told by several real estate companies that this tower will definitely <br />affect the value of my property, also the value of any lots I could sell after <br />city sewer and water comes tl~rough. Two of these lots would have this <br />tower in their back yards. If this tower ever blew down we would all be in <br />danger. I do understand Bob Muellers (owner of the shopping center) <br />position, it is a wonderful offer for hhn. I had previously talked to the city <br />regarding a privacy fence screening the view of the shopping center from <br />abutting residential ar~a. I was told the city waived Mr. Muellers <br />requirements to have to do this. On July 28, 1997, I did talk to Mr. Mueller <br />about the privacy fence bordering my property m~d his. He did agree to the <br />fence. Please add this to the minutes. This will indeed help due to the fact I <br />r~ow find out I have armed robbers cutting through my front yard to rob <br />Dominos Pizza. Hopefully a privacy fence will prevent a reoccurrence of this <br />and add to the safety of my family. <br /> <br />Please consider the following solutions and recolmnendations for the <br />conditional use permit. I was told the city calmot deny this permit, but please <br />listen to my suggestions. <br /> <br />1. Different location of tower on Mr. Muellers property. See attaclnnents for <br /> new sites. <br /> <br />1 - Would have colmnercial property bordering colmnercial property. <br />2 - Would have co~mhercial property bordering agricultural property. <br />3 - Would have colmnercial bordering residential, but alot further from <br /> my front door and bedroom window. <br /> <br /> <br />
