CASE #: / <br /> <br />RE CE I VE RECOMMENDATION TO APPOINT CHRISTOPHER RILY <br /> TO THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br /> By: Linda Waite Smith, Administrative Services Manager <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />We solicited applications in the July/August Ramsey Resident for a vacancy on the Economic <br />Development Commission. We received one application from Christopher Riley, a Certified <br />Public Accountant with Schweitzer, Rubin, Karon & Bremer. Mr. Riley is from the Anoka area <br />and has been a resident of Ramsey for two years. <br /> <br />Mr. Riley was interviewed on August 7 by the EDC Chairperson, the Chair of the Personnel <br />Committee and the Administrative Services Manager. It is their unanimous recommendation to <br />recommend Mr. Riley's appointment to the Economic Development Commission. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />Recommend that City Council appoint Christopher Riley to the Economic Development <br />Commission to complete an uncompleted term that expires January 31, 1998.
