C1T_~ZF.N [NI'UT <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />PLrBLIC ]~EAR]NGS <br /> <br /> Chairperson Deemer adjourned the regular Board of Adjustment meeting at 7:02 p.m. in order to <br /> conduct the following public heatings: <br /> <br />Case#I: R. equest for a Variance to Construct an Accessory Structure Nearer the Front <br /> Property Line than the Principal Structure, Case of Roland Ring-Jarvi <br /> <br />Case #2 Request for A Variance to Minimum Lot Width, Lot Area and Ordinary High Water <br /> Setback; Case Gary Lien <br /> <br /> Chairperson Deemer called the regular Board of Adjustment meeting back to order at 7:10 p.m. <br /> <br />Case #1: Request for a Variance to Construct an Accessory Structure Nearer the Front <br /> Property Line than the Principal Structure~ Case of Roland Ring-,l'arvi <br /> <br />Zoning Adrn~strator Frolik stated that the property is situated on the Mississippi River. The existing <br />home is approximately 179 feet fi.om the front property llne and 75 feet from the Mississippi. The <br />applicant would like to construct an accessory structure 150 feet from the front property line. It is <br />not possible to put it in the rear yard because it would encroach on the rives setback requirement. <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Bawden, seconded byBoard Member LaDue to adopt the findings of£aet <br />in the affirmative. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Bawden, LaI)ue, ]'ensen and <br />Terry. Voting No: None, Absent: Board Members Holland and Thorud. <br /> <br />Chairperson Deemer asked if the 150 foot measurement was physically measured by a surveyor. <br />The contractor stated that the measurement was taken from a fixed point of the e~dsting building. <br />Zoning Administrator suggested that the variance be approved with 5 fe~ offlexibillty. <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Bawdest, seconded by Board Member LaDue to approve the variance to <br />construct an accessory structure nearer the front property line i:han the principal structure at 14260 <br />Bowers Drive NW. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Deemer, Board Members Bawden, LaDue, Jensen and <br />Terry. Voting No: None.
